About Us

  • HRH Charlse and Joy Udenwa Youth Empowerment Program is designed to assist Nigerian youth to finds ways of using their skills and resources to establish themselves.
  • It means using their knowledge, strength, and external resources such as engaging in Agriculture to promote themselves and be open to sincere help when available. It entails engaging youths to enable them address their situation through taking action to improve their lives. So many Youths in Nigeria did not go to school and majority are unemployed.

Sessions

Each session consist of combination of power point lecture, discussion, interaction, and real life stories.

The goal of the program is to empower the Youth realize and appreciate their talents as well as utilize them to achieve their set goals

Next session looks at each individual circumstances and potential and advising the youth on how to remain focus, steadfast in pursing their dreams. 

Lecture on the importance of education when the resources are there. Education is critical for the personal, social, and economic improvement of a person and nation. It propels one into economic and social wellbeing. It empowers and energized the mind to produce great ideas and thoughts. Education has the potential to end cycle of poverty. It open doors for greater socialization and integration.

Healthy Living

Healthy living means healthy future. It means eating the right food and engaging in at least 30 minutes of exercise for 5 days a week. According to United States Department of Health and Human Services, 2019, “Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Combined with physical activity, your diet can help you to reach and maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk of chronic diseases (like heart disease and cancer), and promote your overall health.”

Examples of eating healthy includes eating small portions, more of fruits and vegetables, eating whole grain, low fat, low salt diet, lean meat, low fat milk, proteins, nuts, drink water, avoid sugary drinks, cut back on ice cream, butter, cake, cookies, Pizza, avoiding smoking and drugs. etc.
